International Healthcare Consultant

data information intelligence offers healthcare-focused market and business intelligence and strategic advisory to support companies in the sector of laboratory diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical and biotechnology to understand their current and potential markets, and implement pragmatic and innovative strategies to ultimately tap into new growth opportunities. As of October 2018 we are part of The Economist Intelligence Group.

In order to further augment our dynamic team we seek a Senior Associate or an Associate to lead a team of healthcare analysts in project engagements in the areas of market opportunity assessment, go-to-market strategy, customer insights, channel optimization strategy and competitive benchmarking.

In the role you would be expected to:

  • Serve as the client engagement and project lead, including communicating project updates, presenting key milestones, pre-empting project issues, managing different client stakeholders
  • Lead a team of healthcare analyst across all types of project engagements in the MedTech & Life Sciences healthcare industry in the areas of market opportunity assessment, go-to-market strategy, customer insights, channel optimization strategy and competitive benchmarking
  • Mentor and guide analysts and senior analysts, ensuring that they meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers
  • Appraise and develop team of analysts, including helping to train and develop the necessary skill sets they need to succeed as a healthcare business consultant

To succeed in the role you must have:

  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare business consulting
  • Proven track record in project management and client handling, in the healthcare sector or in business consulting

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from top tier universities, preferably Science major, with an MBA
  • Exceptional command of written and spoken English
  • Highly analytical, organized and meticulous consulting skills

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • High business acumen with versatility to think inside and outside of the box

Freelance Interviewer Position

dii continuously provides jobs as interviewer (quantitative or qualitative).

Key requirements and qualifications:

  • Excellent command / native speaker of at least one European language
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good command of MS-Windows applications (MS Office, Outlook, Internet)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to quickly understand complex matters and topics
  • High reliability

The majority of job assignments are comprised of telephone interviews with clinical staff in various countries. Telephone interviews are computer-assisted, and generally combine quantitative and qualitative aspects. Other assignments, depending on qualifications and experience,  include face-to-face interviewing and focus group moderation, transcriptions and translations, independent topic-related secondary research, data processing and analysis.

Due to the international nature of our business we are looking for native speakers of any European language, especially Italian, French, Spanish, English, Polish, Russian, Hungarian, Czech and Nordic languages. Good command of the English language (spoken and written) is essential, since all project materials are to be delivered in English.

A professional background in healthcare or specialized healthcare knowledge may be useful and appreciated, but is not essential. Prior to the first engagement, and in order to assure adequate qualification, all new team members undergo:

  • Interviewer skills training
  • Project briefing
